• It was not a dream but a relative thought of Sri A.Veeriya Vandayar and his truthful brother Sri.A.Krishnaswamy Vandayar in the year 1956.
• Started in his residence with 11 students and 3 duty-bound teachers, Sri Pushpam College has now spread its banyan shade for a prosperous learning.
• Vandayars are gentlemen farmers with a comprehensive skill for administrative management.
• Sri Pushpam with its sylvan delta surroundings which has a balanced eco system, is a haven for education.
