The Program outcomes of UG Mathematics are:

  • At the end of the programme, the students will acquire.

  • The mathematics UG students after the completion of the course will gain a thorough knowledge in preparing competitive examinations conducted by TNPSC/UPSC/BSRB.

  • The UG curriculum offers need based computer courses which enable the students to solve computer oriented numerical problems.

  • Abstract courses and mathematical structures includes in the UG program enable the students to prepare themselves for higher education leading to M.Sc./MCA degree courses.
The Program outcomes of PG in Mathematics are:

  • At the end of the programme, the students will acquire.

  • After completing 2 years of M.Sc. program, students are gaining through knowledge in pure and applied mathematics.

  • The mathematical curriculum offers a number of practical exposures which equips the students to face modern challenges in mathematics.

  • The PG students after the completion of the course will gain a thorough knowledge in preparing themselves for the CSIR and SET examinations.
The Program outcomes of M. Phil. in Mathematics are:

  • At the end of the programme, the students will acquire.

  • This course improves the standards of research.

  • After completing M.Phil. program, students are gaining through research knowledge in pure and applied mathematics.

  • The mathematical curriculum offers a number of practical exposures which equips the students to face the research challenges in Mathematics.

  • Understand the concepts of algebra which include equations, numbers and algebraic structures.

  • Students will be able to use the concepts of analysis in solving problems. The concepts include sets, numbers, functions and convergence.

  • Understand mathematical ideas from basic axioms.

  • On completion of the program the students are well poised to pursue careers in academia, industry and the other areas of Mathematics.
The Program Specific outcomes of PG in Mathematics are:

  • At the end of the programme, the students will acquire.

  • Gain knowledge of advanced models and methods of mathematics.

  • Able to solve problems in advanced areas of numerical analysis, linear algebra and real analysis.

  • Analyse and write logical arguments to prove mathematical concepts.

  • Develop specific skills in independently analyzing, modeling and solving problems at a high level of abstraction.

  • Gain a research oriented learning that develops analytical an integrative problem solving approaches.
